LeapTV
During your initial device setup, you may see the following messages when trying to register your LeapTV:
"Activation Request Error" and "We were unable to get a Registration Code..."
What should you do?
Follow the instructions in the message to "Skip Registration." You will still be able to play the included game "Pet Play World" as well as any cartridge games after your device setup is complete. Please come back to register your device and download the system update when the system is back up.
To register your device after the system is back up:
- Select the Parents icon and enter your Parent Lock Code
- Select Settings
- Select LeapFrog Parent Account
- Select Register Now
During the system downtime, your LeapTV will not be able to download system updates.
After the system is back up, you will be able to check for a system update by doing the following:
- Select the Parents icon and enter your Parent Lock Code
- Select Settings
- Select Network
- Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- Go back to Settings and select System Info
- If your System Version is lower than 7.1.2.4011, you will see an option to update
