Just imagine!
Toddlers thrive on imaginative play, such as pretend cooking, caring for a baby doll, having tea parties or setting up construction sites. Providing your toddler with opportunities for creative play is an important part of fostering your child’s imagination. Help your child drape blankets over tables to make “caves,” or sail around the world in a laundry basket ship. Stock a box with costume jewelry and vintage store clothes and hats for dress-up, or purchase a generous stash of costumes at an after Halloween sale. Enjoy reveling in the creativity of your toddler.
