As a parent, it is important that your feel comfortable with the activities that your child is participating in. If you are concerned that your son’s camp has water guns, try to schedule time to discuss your concerns with your child’s teacher. During the conversation, try to use a constructive, positive tone to avoid making your child’s teacher respond defensively. If you feel that the teacher does not take your concerns seriously, you can always ask to speak to the director of the summer camp.
