Here's a hands-on matching activity using common objects around the house.
You'll Need
- Various sized jars with lids
Time
10 minutes
Learning Stages
Unscrew caps from a dozen or so jars of different sizes and shapes. Line the jars up and put the lids in a pile. Have your child match each lid to the correct jar. An alternative is to use various sizes of plastic food storage containers, if the lids are easy to put on.
