Buttoning

Help your child gain practise in sorting and sequencing. Place a handful of different size buttons on the table and ask your child to arrange them from smallest to largest. For additional practise, group the buttons according to given criteria, such as size, colour or number of holes. Ask your child to figure out how the group is classified and add buttons that belong.
