Math? Now?
Long before your baby is ready for algebra, she will show an interest in concepts that provide the foundation for learning math later. Natural behaviors such as sorting, stacking and sequencing all contribute to the development of math skills. Build her math vocabulary by talking about shapes (This book is square), quantity (You have two socks), relative sizes (This soccer ball is bigger than that tennis ball) and volume (Your bottle is full/Your bottle is empty).
