Parents who are cooped up in the office all week need to get outside almost as much as their children. Sometimes children are reluctant to to walk very far. Associating walks with storytelling is one way to combat the question, "Are we almost there?"

After your child describes what happens next, you pick up the tale again. Take turns with your child adding fanciful turns to the tale. Your child will stretch his legs and his imagination.
