Encourage your child to use his imagination by acting out one of his favorite stories for you.
You can help build your child's recall power by using the three elements of story structure: beginning, middle and end.
Encourage your child to act out a story he knows well, such as one you have read aloud many times. Help your child gather props, such as a simple costume and objects that are important in the story. Be the audience as your child acts out and retells the story.
