Raise a good toddler citizen
Taking care of the local community is an important part of citizenship. It is never too early to volunteer with your child. Think about activities you can do together to help keep your neighborhood clean and safe. Toddlers can help plant flowers and collect donations for community projects. Visit your local park or take a walk through the yard and ask your child to pick out his favorite tree, picnic table, park bench, or flower bed, and then assign him the special duty of being its caretaker. Help your child care for his special spot by picking up trash or pulling weeds.
