Q: Can you recommend some holiday books for my toddler?

Skills

There are many fun books to get your child excited about the holiday! “The Night Before Christmas” by Rachel Isadora adds a modern twist to a classic favorite, and is beautifully illustrated using paper collage and oil paints. “Dream Snow” by Eric Carle is a wintery tale that really captures the snowy magic of the holidays. “Duck & Goose, It's Time for Christmas!” by Tad Hills is a playful book filled with all the fun, winter activities that make the holidays so special such as catching snowflakes, making snow angels, and sledding. Lastly, “Llama Llama Holiday Drama” by Anne Dewdney reminds children of the real gift the holidays brings–spending time together with those we love.
