Fasten-ating fine motor skills
Skills
Clothespins are a handy tool for strengthening little hands.
Learning Stages
Give your toddler a handful of clothespins to clip to things around the house. Squeezing and releasing the clothespins will develop her fine motor skills—essential for learning to write.
Play a fun hide-and-seek game: Give her 5 clothespins and let her “hide” them around the house by clipping them onto chairs, rugs, crayons or whatever else she can find. Then you try to find where she hid them. Take turns and let her find the clothespins you hide.
