Help your child learn to correctly name the parts of the head and face.
Introduce your toddler to the parts of his body from the shoulders up! These are vital vocabulary words for a child. Point to these parts on yourself, your child, a doll or a picture and introduce him to each part of the head and face. Help your child learn to correctly name these parts of the body: head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, lips, chin, hair. Test their memory by asking: What's that on your face?
