Touch your nose

Parts of the body and face are some of the first words many babies learn. Play this little game to help your toddler learn new words, and have some silly fun!

Ask your toddler to touch his nose, ear, head, tummy or toes. Now it's your turn. Tell him, "I can touch my nose too!" but instead, touch your toes. Your toddler will giggle at the silliness of your mistakes. Ask him to correct you: "This isn't my nose? Are you sure? Where is my nose? Will you touch it for me?"

Next time you play, switch up the verbs in the game. Can you wiggle your toes? Tickle your nose?
