  • Pen or pencil

Learning Stages

Write words on index cards that represent actions that are “quick” or “quiet.” Examples: run, hop, skip, gallop, jump, sleep, sneak, whisper, hide. Take turns drawing a card and deciding if the action should be done quickly or quietly. For more fun, act each word out.
