A LeapFrog School technician will visit your site and perform the following:

  • Inventory materials and equipment.
  • Address any hardware or software issues presented by Tech Coordinators, Teachers, or Administrators.
  • Evaluate functionality of LeapFrog School products.
  • Inspect and clean necessary hardware.
  • Replace current PLT stylus as necessary.
  • Audit performance of LeapPad PLTs, LeapPort™, or LeapDesk systems and all hardware items for warranty reconciliation or replacement options.
  • Verify all applicable software installation on all classroom computers.
  • Apply any available software updates required by specific products.
  • Re-install software or hardware as required, verifying proper functionality.
  • Update server installation and verify functionality as applicable.
  • Provide complete data backup for archival to school or district administration if utilizing the LeapTrack® Assessment & Instruction System.
  • Provide detailed report in paper and digital format for archiving with Principal and Teachers.
