Learning Tip: Name that shape

Any time you are with your child, point out circles, squares and triangles. Help your child learn to correctly name these shapes. (What shape is this penny? What shape is that road sign?  What shape is this tortilla chip?) Point out these shapes in printed materials, such as packaging and books you read aloud.
