Learning Tip: Plan a Picnic

Plan a real or imaginary picnic. Ask your child to name all the foods you’ll take. See if you can think of some picnic foods that begin with a particular sound.  For instance, for the sound /b/ the two of you might come up with picnic items such as: bread, bananas, butter, berries and so on. Try a different letter on your next picnic.
