Blanket, chair or other objects to hide behind

Hello and goodbye are part of baby’s first vocabulary. Pretend to hide behind a blanket or chair as you say, “Goodbye.” Then pop out, say, “Hello!” and give baby a cuddle. Repeat, allowing baby to hide. Be sure to say the hellos and goodbyes each time.
