The classic card game "War" gives your child practice comparing numbers to determine which is greater or less.

Deal out all the number cards from a deck of cards between yourself and your child. The two of you then place a card down at the same time. Whoever has the card with the greater value takes both cards. Watch the speed of the game increase as your child improves her ability to determine comparative value.
