Activity: The sound that is the same

Say a group of three words with the same beginning, middle or final sound. Some examples are: hand, hat, hen (beginning /h/); feet, heat, sleep (middle long /e/) and dog, big, flag (ending /g/). Have your child guess the sound that is the same in each group and add one more word to the list.
