Learning Tip: These Things Are Alike
Learning how things are alike and different is a lifelong skill. Sort things into logical categories throughout the day: things that go, things to eat (and not eat), fruits, vegetables, animals, people and so forth. Baby will generalize at first—every animal will be a dog or a cat for a while—but then she will see begin to see the similarities and differences in objects.
