Learning Tip: Career day

With your child, think of three action verbs to describe different kinds of careers. Take turns challenging each other to guess the career based on the verbs presented.

For example: examines, treats, heals might describe a doctor; reads, suggests, guides might describe a librarian; stands, stops, whistles might describe the school safety guard; patrols, protects, arrests might describe a police officer.
